            Cocktail Party

            Cocktail parties are a fabulous way to entertain friends, neighbors and business associates 
            all at once. Chef Roman is able to create unique and original hand-crafted hors d'oeuvres for 
            any special occasion or holiday, all tray-passed by Kangaroo Catering's professional and  
            personable wait staff. You certainly won't find the usual store bought items on any of our 
            menus.

            Kangaroo Catering will also arrange for set up, required rental and professional/personable 
            wait staff. All you will need to do is send out the invitations.

            Cold appetizers

            Puff pastry ricotta case filled with home made fig jam and topped with caramelized red onion, fresh oregano and parmesan

            Grilled eggplant canapé served topped with goat cheese and a home made Indian 
            spiced mango chutney

            Phylo pastry case filled with spinach, marinated salmon cerviche and 
            a cucumber relish

             Jicama and date canapé with lime and 
            fresh mint 

            Blue cheese canapé topped with 
            caramelized pear and arugula  

            Grilled salmon canapé topped with a pineapple and fresh ginger salsa
            and a chile mayonnaise

            Citrus marinated chicken, roasted red pepper couli and a red onion and pablano chile relish finished with fresh mint 

            Roast beef canapé topped with 
            caramelized red onion jam and a fresh tarragon, caper, mustard and horseradish mayonnaise


            Hot appetizers

            Wonton wrapped sherry marinated chicken served with an apricot and mustard dipping sauce 

            Shrimp wrapped in bacon served with toasted coconut and our famous home 
            made Asian BBQ sauce 

            Creamy sherry mushroom and fontina 
            filled phylo basket finished with fresh 
            thyme and parmesan cheese 

            Baked brie phylo parcels served with an orange, port and red currant jelly sauce  

            Goat cheese, tomato and pesto tartlet 


            Baked phylo pastry filled with a parmesan custard and topped with caramelized red onions, capers and a balsamic reduction

            Aussie pork and chicken sausage rolls wrapped in puff pastry and served with home made tomato sauce 

            Baby portabella mushrooms filled with spicy smoked sausage and spinach and topped with a roasted tomato chutney and fresh mozzarella

            Heavy appetizers

            Spiced rubbed beef skewers served with a roasted red pepper, horseradish and sherry vinegar sauce 

            Marinated beef and red onion skewers served with a fresh tarragon, caper, mustard and horseradish mayonnaise

            Mexican flavoured marinated beef skewers served with a creamy tomatillo and Serrano chile sauce

            Marinated ginger beef tataki skewers served with a lemon-soy dipping sauce 

            Marinated chicken skewers served with a red chile and peanut BBQ sauce 

            Marinated lemon chicken and prosciutto skewers served with an artichoke pesto sauce 

            Marinated grilled salmon skewers served with a Moroccan charmoula herb sauce


            Pork and beef meatballs served with an Australian bush tomato and apple chutney
